Part of The Well-Appointed Life (live auction by Blue Box Auction Gallery)

Location: Makati City, MM

Status: No sale

Welcome to The Well-Appointed Life Blue Box Auction Gallery is proud to welcome you to The Well-Appointed Life, a landmark sale from our partners at Salcedo Auction in the Philippines. Spanning the late nineteenth century to today, the catalog traces the full arc of Philippine art, from rare 1930s Amorsolo masterworks to major works by National Artists Cesar Legaspi, Hernando R. Ocampo, and BenCab, through to an ambitious selection of contemporary Filipino artists. Two of the featured works, Planting Rice and Tinikling Dance, are consigned through Blue Box and appear as lot #29 and lot #50. Because the sale is conducted in Philippine Peso and held on Manila time, bidding takes place directly on Salcedo Auction's platform rather than here on Blue Box. Register with Salcedo to bid on auction day, September 12 at 10:00 AM PHT (September 11 at 10:00 PM ET). Register to bid with Salcedo Auction »
