Welcome to Part II of the Roger G. Jacobsen Paperweight Collection, featuring 244 lots assembled over a lifetime of collecting, dealing, and personal relationships with leading paperweight makers. At the heart of this installment is an exceptional group of 121 Perthshire weights, including rare cut and cased examples, pictorial subjects, Christmas weights, and early factory production, joined by 45 St. Louis weights, 25 personalized Union Glass Company weights dating from 1866 through 1926, Baccarat, Paul Ysart, Orient & Flume, Paul Stankard, Rick Ayotte, Charles Kaziun, Victor Trabucco, Debbie Tarsitano, Francis Whittemore, Dominick Labino, and other studio masters. Highlights include a 1989 St. Louis faceted double overlay numbered 18 of 50, an early signed 1977 Paul Stankard experimental floral, and one of the deepest Perthshire holdings in the collection. Built from more than fifty years of careful acquisition through Jacobsen’s dealership, Paperweights of Quality, and friendships with makers including Perthshire founder Stuart Drysdale, this sale offers an unusually broad look at the development of paperweight artistry across factories, studios, and generations.
